Spicy Roasted Broccoli
This has got to be my ABSOLUTE favourite way of serving broccoli. I actually enjoy snacking on a bowl of these with some raita to dip into, they are THAT good! Plus, it does help that they are just so very easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- 1 head of broccoli cut into florets
- 2-4 tbsp oil
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 1-2 cloves garlic finely minced or crushed to a paste
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- juice of half a lemon
Instructions
- Mix the oil, salt, black pepper, garlic, chilli flakes and lemon juice in a bowl. Pour over the broccoli florets and gently toss together. Spread over a foil-lined baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200 C for about 10 minutes, turn them over and bake for another 5-8 minutes or until the florets are beginning to colour around the edges and are crispy.Remove and serve as a side or on their own with a dip of your choice.Enjoy! 🙂
