Mango Sauce

Servings : Makes approximately 1-2 cups

A sauce that goes well with grilled chicken and all sorts of seafood like shrimp/prawns, salmon, etc. It also makes for the perfect topping over tacos and is a great dip for pakoras.


  • 1 large firm semi-ripe mango, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1-2 red chillies
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander (or to taste)
  • salt to taste


Put everything into a blender and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust if needed. Refrigerate for a few hours or up to overnight before serving, the flavours intensify with time. Use as needed.
