- 1 head of broccoli cut into florets
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Trim and clean the broccoli, set aside.In a pan, add the water, oil, garlic, chilli flakes, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer then add the broccoli florets and cover the pan to allow the broccoli to steam for 3 minutes over high heat. Turn the heat off, add the lemon juice and let the broccoli sit in the pan for another 3 minutes to continue steaming in the residual heat. Then toss to coat the broccoli with any leftover juices in the pan. Serve immediately.Enjoy! 🙂
