- 1 1/2 cups digestive or tea-biscuits 150 gm
- 75 gm butter melted
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips 170 gm
- 1 cup dates de-seeded and chopped
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 cup flaked almonds
- 395 gm sweetened condensed milk 1 can
Preheat the oven at 180 C.Grease an 8 inch square pan.Grind the digestives into a fine powder and then combine the biscuit crumbs with the melted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press mixture into pan, making sure to flatten it down completely.Next, sprinkle a layer of the chocolate chips, followed by the deseeded and chopped dates, coconut and almond flakes.Finally, carefully pour the condensed milk evenly over top.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown & the center is firm.Allow to cool before cutting into squares.Enjoy! 🙂
