- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 125 gm butter
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- pinch of salt
First, make the popcorns using this method: How to Make Perfect Popcorn then set them aside.Combine all the rest of the ingredients in a pan, cook whilst stirring on medium to low heat until sugar has dissolved. Then bring this mixture to the boil.Boil the sauce on low heat uncovered, WITHOUT STIRRING, for 5 more minutes or until light golden. If you need to mix, just lift the pan and swirl the sauce around.Remove from heat and pour the caramel sauce over your popcorn. Stir until popcorn is coated then spread them over a tray to cool.Enjoy your crispy crunchy caramel popcorn!!
