- Heat the oil in a pan, then add the onions and fry until they soften. Then add the garlic paste followed by the chopped tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy. Next add the sauces, green chilli and cumin/turmeric spices. Stir and add in the cooked beans and salt. Give everything a mix to make sure the beans are coated and infused with all the flavour of the spices.
- Finally add the cooked rice and a splash of soy sauce. Stir it in and pat everything down neatly. Cover the pan and turn down the heat to very low. Allow it to steam for about 5-10 minutes and serve garnished with some fresh coriander.Enjoy!
