Simple Coleslaw

Serves 2-3

Love having this on the side of some dishes, like burgers or pastas and it is super easy to prepare.

Ingredients
1 cup
shredded or finely sliced cabbage
1-2
carrots, grated
1/4 cup
mayonnaise (or more/less if you like)
2 tbsp
sour cream or thick yoghurt
(optional but adds a good flavour)
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
1 tsp
sugar
1 tsp
lemon juice
Instructions 

Mix everything together, refrigerate for a few hours in order for the flavours to develop.

Then serve as a side to your dishes of preference!

Can i substitute Cabbage over Salad? Or it won't turn out the way it's suppose to?
Kindly assist, as i don't like cabbage at all ..

W/Salaam, you can but salad wilts very fast...cabbage holds its shape longer. So if you plan on saving the coleslaw for more than a few hours, then salad will get all soggy and soft...cabbage will work much better.
