Tandoori Chicken Burger
A unique 'desi' twist to the regular chicken burger, this one's flavour is intensified by the addition of some special ingredients and a deliciously creamy sauce that elevates the burger to something truly spectacular.
Put the mince in a bowl, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well to combine. Refrigerate for an hour or up to overnight for the flavours to fully develop and for the mince to be easier to handle and shape.
Prepare the sauce by mixing all the sauce ingredients, taste and adjust. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
Divide the mince mixture into 6 and form round patties. Grill these until cooked on both sides or pan fry in a lightly oiled pan until cooked through on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Assemble the burgers and drizzle some of the sauce over them just before serving.
