Just your average girl, tinkering around her kitchen...

Salaam and Greetings FKF Fans!

FKF recently celebrated it's 5th Anniversary, mashaAllah, what a milestone! We can not believe how fast the years have rushed by! They say time flies when you are having fun, and for sure we have had the best of times over these last few years! Thank you ALL for your deepest loyalty, your heartfelt love and endless support! We appreciate each and every one of you and count you as part of our extended family. FKF would not be what it is today were it not for YOU all!

We pray that the years ahead are kind, not just to FKF but to our entire FKF family. May the times ahead bring with them all that is good and everything that is right, for us and for the world around us. May we all be able to achieve every dream and attain every goal, Ameen.

We love you, and are looking forward to many more years of growth and prosperity inshaAllah. Happy Anniversary!

With Love & Duas Always,

This Month's Tips - Ramadhan 2016.

Here are some tips on what to avoid and what to eat during the Holy Month of Ramadan to make it simpler for you. InshaAllah you will find this information useful.

* Pease note we are not doctors, so make sure to consult your doctor if you have any further concerns or questions.

Complex Carbs

Complex carbohydrates are a good choice at suhoor so your food lasts longer, making you less hungry.

Bananas are a great source of potassium, magnesium and carbohydrates.

Stay as hydrated as possible between iftaar and bedtime. This includes both water and fresh fruit juices so your body may adjust its fluid levels.

Avoid too much sugars

These are empty calories with low nutritional value. Even though they will give instant energy, they will not sustain throughout the day and night.

Avoid Fried Foods

High fat foods are high in calories and are nutrient deficient which can lead to an imbalanced diet leaving you sluggish and increasingly fatigued.

Avoid Salty Food

Achars and pickles are high in salt. Dehydration can be a risk and high salt foods can increase that risk by drawing fluids out of your body
