Mocha Crème Caramel Pudding – The Easy Way

Servings : Serves 4

When it comes to cooking, sometimes it’s good to have a few tricks up your sleeve to make regular boring old desserts from a box look and taste super extra special.

You might be familiar with my Crème Caramel, made from the box? LINK

Well here’s a different version of it that I came up with to add a different flavor to it!

Instructions

When boiling the milk (as per the carton instructions) add a stick of cinnamon and a couple of cardamom pods. Also separately in a cup, mix 2 LEVEL tsp. of granulated mocha coffee beans or regular instant coffee with a tablespoon of warm milk. Once the milk reaches near boiling point, add the coffee and stir it in, then add the pudding powder that comes in the box. Let these boil for a few minutes so that the coffee flavor is infused into the pudding. And then pour into the caramel coated molds as you would usually do. Make sure you discard the cinnamon stick and cardamom pods first though! Serve chilled! :))

And voila! A fantastic mocha flavored crème caramel that is to DIE for!! If you want a stronger coffee flavor, prepare this the day before you plan to serve…the coffee flavor develops more with the extra time! ♥
