Lattice-topped Pastries

Servings : Makes 40-50 pies

Loving THIS gadget that helps me achieve the pretty pattern on these pastries.

Ingredients

  • Keema/mince meat (recipe link in instructions below)
  • puff pastry
  • beaten egg
  • 1 boiled and mashed potato

Instructions

I used THIS filling and some ready made pastries to make these gorgeous pies, which are just a twist on my previously posted meat-pies recipe found HERE.

I mashed one potato in the filling to help hold it together, and drizzled very little egg white into each pastry before closing them to keep the keema together so it doesn’t drop when having the pies! Totally scrumptious and cute! ♥
